![]() ![]() ![]() Pride Month takes place in June every year, honoring June 1969 which served as a turning point in the fight for LGBTQ rights in the United States. Throughout the month of June, communities and organizations celebrate the voices and culture of LGBTQ people through marches, parades, political activism, performances and celebrations of life to those who lost their lives to HIV/AIDS. As the month’s name implies, it’s a time of pride, affirmation and celebration for who you are, as well as political advocacy to further inclusivity. Pride Month honors the identity, rights and inclusion of LGBTQ people in our nation, celebrating their place in American history and future. Happy Pride Month!
